With the opening of its second warehouse in the Jebel Ali Freezone, Mohebi Logistics adds another 45,000 pallets to its existing 33,000 pallet positions.
This leap in capacity – an increase of 135% – will give the company greater scope in undertaking regional distribution and is part of its continued expansion plans. It also enhances Mohebi Logistics’ dominant position as a FMCG supply chain provider within Arab markets.
The new ultra-modern facility covers 30,000 square meters at an investment of AED 110 million. It includes all the infrastructure – freezers, chillers and temperature-controlled rooms – necessary to keep delicate food and non-food products in prime condition.
This is just the start, says CEO Mohammed Mohebi: “We’re in advanced negotiations with city authorities to take over 140,000 square meters of land for development in the new Dubai Logistics City project. We’re also looking beyond the GCC to India, where logistics issues are now taking on a much higher priority.”
